VIDEO: Thomas Muller's non-intentional effort gives Bayern Munich lead over Olympiacos
Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller probably didn't mean to score with this effort, but score he did, to give his side a 1-0 lead over Olympiacos.
Muller sent into the box what looked like a cross from over 25 yards out, presumably seeking the foot or head of Robert Lewandowski, but watched as the ball sailed high over Olympiacos goalkeeper Roberto, who got his fingertips on it, but couldn't make the save.
Cross or shot? Who cares, it's 1-0 to #FCBayern thanks to @esmuellert_! #OLYFCB pic.twitter.com/uk6g0NBVkG

Muller sported a cheeky smile as teammates surrounded him to celebrate a goal that was borne out of circumstance rather than creativity. But he'll take it, just like the rest.
#Müller on his lobbed goal: "I saw Lewy heading on goal, I wasn't aiming to shoot. I got a bit lucky!"
