Aaron Ramsey: Fails to capitalize on expanded role
Ramsey took two shots and provided eight crosses in Sunday's scoreless draw with Stoke.
Analysis:
Although he had a larger offensive role than most weeks due to the absence of Mesut Ozil, Ramsey could't quite provide the pass necessary to breech the Stoke defense. The 25-year-old was still quite active, as he once again thrived in his box-to-box role. Ramsey had factored in three goals in his previous two matches, and he will look to get back on the scoresheet next week versus Chelsea.
