Paris Saint-Germain substitute Edinson Cavani scored within four minutes of coming onto the field, and he can thank teammate Angel Di Maria for the irresistible pass that set up the winning goal Tuesday against Chelsea.
Di Maria, who has 10 assists in Ligue 1, contributed his first in the Champions League with a mesmerizing lob in the 78th minute. It sent Cavani in, allowing him to give the French club a 2-1 lead that it wouldn't relinquish.
