Everything you need to know about Tuesday's engrossing Champions League action
Four of Europe's best sides, boasting some of the world's best players, took the pitch on Tuesday, lighting up the continent's premier club competition with a pair of enthralling matches.
The only problem, of course, was that Arsenal took on Barcelona at precisely the same time Juventus was hosting Bayern Munich. Thanks a lot, UEFA.
You were likely fixated on one match, depending, of course, on where your allegiances lie. Don't fret.
In an effort to get you caught up on everything you may have missed in the other match of the day, here's a rundown of Tuesday's Champions League action from the Emirates and the Juventus Stadium.
Arsenal 0, Barcelona 2

There's no shame in succumbing to Barcelona - the Blaugrana are 33 games unbeaten, after all. And yet, at the conclusion of a thoroughly entertaining match in north London on Tuesday, Arsenal will feel like the opportunity was there, mainly in the opening half, to spring the upset. Barcelona was sluggish and disjointed in attack, and the Gunners were organized defensively and energetic all across the pitch. Then the Holy Trinity found its magic, Mathieu Flamini continued to be Mathieu Flamini, and before you knew it, Barcelona had one foot in the quarterfinals.

Juventus 2, Bayern Munich 2

What started as a slaughter, and stayed that way for about an hour, was flipped on its head in the latter stages of the second stanza, as Juventus made good on a club mantra, battling until the end to overturn a 2-0 deficit and earn a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich. The Bavarian club is heavily favoured to finish the job at the Allianz Arena next month, but the Bianconeri proved to everyone, and perhaps to themselves as well, that they can hang with the second-best team in the world.
