Manchester City vs. Kyiv slagged as 'worst Champions League knock-out match ever'
Manchester City and Dynamo Kyiv played out a painstakingly dour 0-0 draw Tuesday at the Etihad, a second-leg result that saw the English side advance to the Champions League quarter-finals by virtue of a 3-1 victory on aggregate.

With the result all but decided after the opening leg, it was always likely the return fixture would fail to inspire. It did just that - and then some - as noted on social media by those who sat through 90 minutes of what was, frankly, awful football.
This is one of those football matches that will never be spoken of again

I've been thinking about it, and have decided this City-Kiev game may be the worst CL knock-out match there has ever been.

What an awful game. On the bright side, it's finished. @GaryLineker effectively issues an official apology at the end.
