Ricardo Oliveira cut from Brazil's squad due to injury, replaced by Jonas
Following a Primeira Liga season in which he tallied a league-best 32 goals, Jonas will pull on the iconic yellow shirt of Brazil's national team at the Copa America Centenario.
Santos FC's Ricardo Oliveira, the top scorer in last year's Brasileirao Serie A, has been cut from Brazil's squad for the Copa America Centenario due to an injury, the Confederacao Brasileira de Futebol announced Saturday. Jonas is his replacement.

Essentially, Dunga is replacing one veteran forward with another. However, Oliveira boasts more than a decade of international experience, while Jonas only made his debut for Brazil over five years ago and has played sporadically for the Selecao.
