Alphonso Davies misses Bayern training with bruised skull
Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies suffered a cranial bruise after being caught in the face by Jude Bellingham's boot during Saturday's 2-2 draw at Borussia Dortmund.
The Bavarian club said the Canadian missed Sunday's training session but is "feeling good in the circumstances."
No timeline was provided for Davies' return to match fitness.
Davies looked dazed and was taken directly to hospital after the incident. Bellingham, who already had a yellow card, escaped further punishment for the offense. Bayern head coach Julian Nagelsmann complained post-match that Bellingham's kick should've been a straight red card.
Davies, 21, picked up the head injury just 46 days before his national team kicks off its first World Cup campaign since 1986. The former Vancouver Whitecaps star has played 34 times for Canada, scoring 12 goals.
