Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday announced the signing of Mahmoud Dahoud from Premier League side Brighton on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old signed a deal until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Dahoud began his career with Borussia Monchengladbach before moving to Dortmund in 2017, where he won the 2021 German Cup.
He moved from Dortmund to Brighton on a free transfer in the summer of 2023, before returning to Germany on loan for the second half of last season.
Syria-born Dahoud, who was capped twice by Germany in 2020, switched his national allegiance to the country of his birth this year but is yet to make his debut.
