Neville deletes Twitter account after sexist tweets resurface
Newly appointed England women's national team manager Phil Neville has already found himself in a spot of trouble, seemingly deleting his Twitter account after a number of older posts with sexist remarks were retweeted following Tuesday's announcement.
Neville was operating under the verified handle @fizzer18. As of the time of this writing, it produces the typical 404 error that is shown when a page does not exist.

The tweets were saved by Twitter users, though, and showcase some regrettable remarks from the past:

The 41-year-old has not commanded the helm of any team on a full-time basis, though he has served as an assistant at Valencia, as a caretaker manager at Salford City, and as a first-team coach at Manchester United. Presumably, his first stint as a full-time manager has not gotten off to the start he would have liked.
