Fired-up Manchester City smash 5 past Watford in opening 18 minutes
Don't make Manchester City angry.
Following last week's shock 3-2 loss at Norwich City, Pep Guardiola's side raced to a 5-0 halftime lead against Watford on Saturday. All five goals were scored in the opening 18 minutes.
It could've been more, with Sergio Aguero narrowly missing a lob, hitting the post, and having a header saved on the line during the first period.
5 - Manchester City's five goals after just 18 minutes is the fastest any side has ever gone 5-0 ahead in a @premierleague match in the competition's history. Ridiculous.

Manchester City went in at the break with more goals than Watford have scored all season (four). Dimitri Foulquier was embarrassingly substituted 33 minutes into his Hornets debut after touching the ball only nine times and completing two passes.
David Silva began the goal rush when he met an impeccable Kevin De Bruyne cross with a close-range jab. The first effort was followed by an Aguero penalty, a deflected Riyad Mahrez free-kick, a stooping header from Bernardo Silva, and a far-post finish courtesy of defender Nicolas Otamendi.
