FA Cup semifinal draw: Arsenal meet City, United to play Chelsea
The penultimate round of the FA Cup will feature a pair of heavyweight bouts, with some of the Premier League's top clubs battling for a chance to win the 139th edition of the competition.
Holders Manchester City will take on Arsenal in the semifinals after Pep Guardiola's side dispatched Newcastle United 2-0 on Sunday to bring the quarterfinal phase to a close.
Manchester United and Chelsea were drawn together in the other semifinal contest in a rematch of the 2017-18 FA Cup final, which Chelsea won 1-0 to secure their eighth title.
The four remaining clubs have won the competition 39 times between them, with Arsenal holding the all-time record with 13 FA Cup trophies. United have won 12 times.
City secured their sixth FA Cup by thrashing Watford 6-0 last year.
The semifinal encounters are scheduled to take place July 18 and 19.
