Leicester's loss to Spurs gives Chelsea, United boost in UCL race
Leicester City conceded three first-half goals Sunday in a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur that severely damaged Leicester's hopes of making the Champions League for just the second time in club history.
Chelsea can clinch a place in next season's competition with a win over Liverpool on Wednesday. Manchester United, meanwhile, can leapfrog Leicester for fourth place with a draw or victory against West Ham United in midweek action.
# | Club | Games remaining | Goal difference | Points |

5 | Manchester United | 2 | 28 | 62 |
Leicester face United in a potential winner-take-all season finale on July 26.
Brendan Rodgers' side has now dropped points in seven of its nine matches since the Premier League resumed the season in June.
Injuries have hampered Leicester of late; James Maddison and Ben Chilwell were both ruled out for the remainder of the campaign last week. Defender Caglar Soyuncu was also suspended for Sunday's match after he was sent off in a 4-1 collapse to relegation-threatened Bournemouth.
Leicester looked dead and buried from the very start in Sunday's tilt at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. James Justin turned Heung-Min Son's shot into his own goal in the sixth minute to give Spurs an early lead, and Harry Kane scored twice to round out the half and add to his impressive form.
The win lifted Tottenham to sixth place in the Premier League standings, above Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sheffield United.
