Report: Manchester United in talks with Van de Beek's reps
Manchester United are pursuing Donny van de Beek once again.
The Red Devils have been in contact with Van de Beek's representatives but are yet to submit an offer to Ajax, according to The Guardian's Fabrizio Romano.
Ajax apparently value the midfielder at around €40 million.
Van de Beek is currently participating in the Eredivisie giants' preseason workouts, but Ajax boss Erik ten Hag left him out of Saturday's friendly with Eintracht Frankfurt and admitted it was due to developments in the 23-year-old's future, ESPN's Rodrigo Faez and Alex Kirkland report.
United have scouted Van de Beek for many months, and the Dutch international wants to move to the Premier League after several clubs contacted his agents, Romano understands.
In January, Van de Beek said he would remain at Ajax for at least the remainder of the 2019-20 season amid reported interest from United and Real Madrid.
