Arsenal ended Aston Villa's 11-game winning run in ruthless fashion with a 4-1 destruction of Unai Emery's men at the Emirates to open up a five-point Premier League lead.

Gabriel Magalhaes, Martin Zubimendi, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus all struck in the second half as Arsenal dealt a reality check to Villa's dreams of a first league title since 1981.
