David Moyes on Ferdinand retirement rumors: That's a 'load of rubbish'
Rio Ferdinand is not being left out of Manchester United's upcoming trip to Dubai, nor does he have any plans to retire, according to David Moyes.
Reports on Tuesday suggested that the 35-year-old was mulling the decision to walk away from the game, but the United manager moved quickly to put those to rest later in the day.
"What was written was a load of rubbish - complete nonsense," Moyes said.
Ferdinand has started only seven games for the Red Devils so far this season, but did his part to dispel the rumors by taking to his Twitter account...
