The inaugural GolfSixes event was settled by inches.
Denmark came into the last hole of the GolfSixes final leading 2-1 over Australia, however Thorbjorn Olesen pushed his second shot at the last hole right of green. The ball looked to be headed for the water hazard, but Luckily for Olesen, his ball stopped just a few inches from the hazard.
Teammate Lucas Bjerregaard would chip onto the green, and the Danes would claim the title over the Aussies.
In the consolation match, Scotland and Italy went to a playoff, but the format would consist of a closest to the hole contest
Marc Warren of Scotland would edge Matteo Manassero and Renato Paratore's attempts by four inches, to win 2-1 over the Italians for third place.
