No offers received for Arsenal target Xhaka, says Gladbach director
Granit Xhaka is reportedly generating plenty of interest around Europa, but curiosity in the talented Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder appears to be the extent of the interest.
Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl addressed speculation Wednesday regarding Xhaka's possible transfer away from the club, saying the club has not received any offers for the 23-year-old.
The Swiss international has been connected with various clubs throughout Europe thanks to his positive impact on a Borussia Monchengladbach side poised to secure a place in next season's Champions League.
Arsenal has reportedly identified Xhaka as one of its top transfer targets ahead of the summer window. But a move to the Emirates Stadium has repeatedly been shot down by Eberl.
