Tottenham's Dele Alli: I've taken stick over missed goal
Tottenham midfield sensation Dele Alli admitted Tuesday his teammates have been giving him a hard time with some ribbing and joking following a brutal miss on an open net against Stoke City.
The 20-year-old scored two goals in Spurs' 4-0 win at the Britannia Stadium, but he'll be remembered most for his embarrassing miss, which comically brought manager Mauricio Pochettino to his elbows and knees in frustration.
"It's one of those moments and I don't know how I missed it," Alli said, according to Rory O'Callaghan from Sky Sports. "Thankfully I scored two and we won. Hopefully it will be forgotten, but I'm sure it won't be. Eric (Dier)'s already got on to me about it as soon as I walked in, so I'm sure there will be more to come.
"He just showed me a video that someone sent him on Twitter so I'm sure I'll get a lot more stick for it."

Alli more than made up for the miss with his second goal of the match, making him the youngest midfielder in Premier League history to score 10 goals. It's a milestone Alli said he was gunning for down the final stretch of the season.
"When I signed, my target was to get 10 starts," Alli said. "But then after I got a run of games, I wanted to get 10 goals and happily I've reached that target. Now I can set a benchmark for myself for next season and I've got to set it even higher."
