Manchester United hasn't had much to cheer about this season, but among the few bright spots, the continued excellence of shot-stopper David De Gea stands out above the rest.
The Spaniard, 25, has been named the club's Player of the Year for the third consecutive season, accepting the Sir Matt Busby Award at United's end-of-season dinner on Monday.

The dexterous goalkeeper called the achievement a "big honour," taking to his Twitter account to announce his delight at claiming the award.
"It's amazing be named Manchester United Player of the Year three times in a row! Thanks a lot to everyone again!"
