Liverpool fans pack Anfield Road before Europa League kick-off
Liverpool supporters hung off scaffolding, lit red flares, and swarmed the team buses to create the best possible atmosphere before Thursday's Europa League semi-final against Villarreal.
The fans backed up claims that Liverpool does European nights best with a wonderful show of support for their club.

The flags of Brazil and Germany accompanied banners with famous slogans in front of one of Liverpool's famous pubs, King Harry's.

The belief that Liverpool - down 1-0 to Villarreal after playing the first leg in Spain - can turn around the tie is rampant.

And when the team buses arrived, the crowd erupted in chants:
