As West Ham supporters threw bottles and cans Tuesday, Manchester United players ducked for cover in the aisle of their team bus.
Midfielder Jesse Lingard captured the moment United's coach was attacked by fans as it attempted to make its way to Upton Park for the final match at the 112-year-old stadium
Unlike the tense atmosphere in the streets where police attempted to restore order, the mood on the bus was surprisingly upbeat considering the threat of a projectile smashing through the windows.
At one point, Lingard screams "Mummy!" as he and teammates took shelter away from the windows, huddling down in the aisle.
