As far as cross-promotion campaigns go, Manchester United's partnership with 'X-Men' has to be one of the worst.
First off, there should be a new law implemented that bans football players from acting after seeing the display Wayne Rooney put on when someone decided to give the United captain a few lines.
Other than his cringeworthy effort, the ad ultimately fails when the sentence, "Everything they've built will fall!" is uttered. One can't help but think manager Louis van Gaal would've preferred a more encouraging choice of words.
And all Rooney had to say was, "Bloody hell."
