Photo of Vardy holding Arsenal kit turns out to be fake
Observant Arsenal fans may have noticed something familiar about the photo floating about on the internet purporting to show Jamie Vardy in the famous red-and-white Gunners kit.
But for some, the picture showing Vardy holding up an Arsenal shirt was about as much confirmation they needed to conclude the Leicester City forward was definitely on his way to Arsenal.

The photo may have really fooled the masses if Granit Xhaka's move to north London wasn't so fresh in the minds of Arsenal fans. The picture was quickly proved to be a hoax as a side-by-side comparison of Xhaka's leaked photos ahead of his transfer from Borussia Monchengladbach shows that Vardy's head has simply been photoshopped onto the Swiss midfielder's body.
Decent effort but that Vardy Arsenal shirt pic is photoshopped. pic.twitter.com/9PkG0nyQ5s
