Leicester City has offered midfielder N'Golo Kante a contract worth £100,000 per week as the reigning Premier League champion attempts to ward off interest from Arsenal, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain, according to The Telegraph's Matt Law.
Law indicates that Kante, who's a starter for France in Euro 2016, won't make a decision about his future until after the tournament.
The 25-year-old currently earns £40,000 a week, with Leicester willing to increase his wages by more than double.
Striker Jamie Vardy has also received a similar offer from the Foxes as they attempt to stymie Arsenal's advances. The London club reportedly triggered his release clause before Euro 2016 began, although the England international has also deferred any decision until July.
Leicester is clearly desperate to hold onto its star players, despite securing Champions League football next season. But the windfall from TV and sponsorship deals has armed the club with the resources necessary to battle the likes of PSG and United in the transfer market.
Kante was one of France's key performers in Friday's opening match against Romania, registering more touches (101) than any other player on the pitch.
