Russia fans charge England supporters, capping day marred by violence
A day spoiled by violence in the streets of Marseille between England and Russia supporters concluded much the same way it started, as fans of the latter sent Three Lions supporters rushing for the exits after the final whistle of Saturday's 1-1 draw between the two sides at the Stade Velodrome.
Frightening scenes after the match saw a group of Russians in attendance - some donning balaclavas - charge towards a section containing England fans, breaking through a line of stewards and launching bottles and other objects.
Scattered fighting broke out between the opposing groups, while others were able to flee the area unharmed.

The incident came on the heels of three consecutive days of ugly clashes in the streets of Marseille, as fans of both teams battled each other and local police in scenes that saw bloodshed, tear gas, and destruction of local property in various areas of the city.
