Leicester gets 20-1 odds to capture 2016-17 Premier League
Bookmakers won't be repeating their mistake from the 2015-16 Premier League campaign, capping odds at 1,000-1 for the six teams predicted to battle for survival next season after giving 5,000-1 odds for Leicester City to win outright last season.
The Premier League announced its 2016-17 schedule on Wednesday and the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook also announced its title odds for the campaign. Manchester City leads the pack at 7-4, followed by Manchester United (4-1), Arsenal (6-1), Chelsea (13-2), and Tottenham (7-1).
Leicester City's Cinderella story paid off for supporters who put a few quid down on 5,000-1 odds last season, but those same supporters would receive significantly less in winnings this time around with the Foxes at 20-1 to repeat their title-winning feat.
West Brom, Hull City, Burnley, Watford, Middlesbrough, and Bournemouth were all given 1,000-1 odds, with Sunderland, Swansea City and Crystal Palace receiving 500-1 odds moving up the ladder.
