Southampton's Victor Wanyama: Undergoes medical ahead of Tottenham move
Wanyama is set to make 11m switch from Southampton to Tottenham, according to Sky Sports.
Analysis:
Wanyama, reportedly, flew Sunday to London to undergo medical exams and finalise a four-year deal with the Spurs. The transfer will be part of Spurs' attempt to deepen their squad ahead of a heavy-duty campaign coming up. Wanyama will challenge Eric Dyer for the starting spot at holding midfielder, though, there will be plenty of action for both of them with Tottenham's Champions League participation this year. Wanyama is not much of a fantasy producer, though, finishing last season with one goal, one assist, four yellow and three red cards in 30 Premier League appearances (29 starts).
