The joyful spirit of the Irish fans in France has clearly rubbed off on former Manchester United forward Eric Cantona.
In an epic video that features the former French international highlighting the best and worst moments of Euro 2016, Cantona took an opportunity to praise Irish fans, calling them "the life of the party."
Cantona, bearing his chest and holding a cane, then sang a song that's swept the continent, entitled "Will Grigg's on Fire," to honour the Northern Ireland player who has become a cult hero despite not making an appearance in France thus far.
After his passionate performance, Cantona came to the realisation he might have a son in Germany after learning that Mario Gotze shares his passion for philosophical references.
"These are my genes!" he exclaimed.
