Swansea City is set to make Queens Park Rangers midfielder Leroy Fer its first signing of the summer transfer window.
The Dutchman played 11 times on a four-month loan in South Wales last season, and BBC Sport understands manager Francesco Guidolin will engineer a prompt return for Fer to the tune of £4.75 million.
The midfielder had another year on his deal at Loftus Road, but had voiced his wish to remain with Swansea. He cost QPR a reported £8 million from Norwich City in 2014.
The Swans are yet to delve into the transfer market this summer, but are widely expected to make splurges in the wake of an American consortium taking a controlling stake in the club.
