Report: Everton targets Wijnaldum for summer swoop

Everton is reportedly interested in bringing on Newcastle midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum during the summer transfer window, with manager Ronald Koeman looking to craft a new midfield look for the Toffees for the 2016-17 season, according to Sky Sports.

Wijnaldum joined Newcastle at the top of this past season, but with the club now relegated to the Championship, he is now reportedly assessing his options at St. James' Park.

Sky Sports further reports that while Wijnaldum joined Newcastle for £14.5 million last season, a bid of around £25 million could be enough to snag the Dutch attacker.
