Juventus is hoping N'Golo Kante's transfer from Leicester City to Chelsea could result in a domino effect that sees Nemanja Matic suiting up in black and white stripes.

ESPN FC's Miguel Delaney understands that was an initial reluctance from Stamford Bridge in selling Matic, but now that the Kante deal is completed it may allow the Serbian midfielder to leave for £15 million (€17.9 million).
Typically an assured performer in the middle of the park, Matic, 27, was part of a large throng of Blues players that appeared weathered under Jose Mourinho last season. There was an upturn in his form when working with interim manager Guus Hiddink, but new boss Antonio Conte isn't going to make great efforts to keep Matic around for the 2016-17 campaign.
Juventus currently has an embarrassment of riches in midfield, but there would be concern from the Old Lady's support that signing Matic could ease the exit of Paul Pogba to Manchester United. It has been a transfer tale that has dragged on for some time, but United is apparently confident of striking an agreement for what could be a record-breaking fee.
Massimiliano Allegri has signed Dani Alves, Medhi Benatia, Mario Lemina, and Miralem Pjanic this summer, and the latter has already shown some promising cohesion with Paulo Dybala in pre-season training.
