West Ham forward Diafra Sakho was set to complete a £15-million move to West Brom in the coming days, but BBC Sport reported Thursday that the deal has fallen through after the Senegal international underwent a medical at The Hawthorns.
The 26-year-old would have been West Brom's most expensive acquisition. Sakho did undergo a medical and BBC Sport reports that he passed but "would not have been fit for the start of the season."
Sakho only recently joined the Hammers from FC Metz in 2014, making 44 appearances and scoring 15 league goals in the two seasons that followed.
