Zidane wishes Pogba 'the best' in United return

Everyone has an opinion on Manchester United's record-breaking purchase of Paul Pogba - well, everyone except Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane.
Los Blancos were allegedly vying with United for the French midfielder's signature for some time, but were ultimately priced out when Jose Mourinho and the Old Trafford hierarchy parted with a whopping €105 million-plus to re-sign Pogba.

It was an amount pricier than the previous record of what Real Madrid splurged on Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspur three years ago.
"I have no thoughts about it," Zidane claimed Tuesday ahead of Real Madrid's UEFA Super Cup bout with Sevilla. "(Pogba) is a United player, and that's it. I wish him the best."
Mourinho hasn't rested on his laurels since taking the United helm. Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly have joined at around £30 million each, and although Zlatan Ibrahimovic joined as a free agent, he'll take home a lucrative pay packet.
By comparison, this summer has been uncharacteristically quiet at the Santiago Bernabeu. Even the touted departures of either Isco or James Rodriguez haven't materialised.
But don't rule out the Spanish giant making waves in the window just yet.
"The prices are what they are," Zidane continued. "We have many players and I am not going to say that I am asking for another midfielder.
"All those who stay will be important. Anything could happen."
Pogba's debut could come Sunday in the modest surroundings of Bournemouth's 11,464-seat capacity Dean Court.
