Manchester City vs. Monchengladbach rescheduled for Wednesday

After Tuesday's contest between Manchester City and Borussia Monchengladbach was postponed due to a downpour of biblical proportions in the English city, UEFA confirmed the match has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 2:45 p.m. ET.

As documented by the Citizens, the Etihad pitch was akin to a swimming pool as rain pounded the area, with officials determining the playing surface was not suitable for the match.

With Barcelona hammering Celtic 7-0 in the group's other contest, both City and Monchengladbach will be looking for three points Wednesday to keep pace with the Blaugrana.
