London - Danny Rose has signed a new five-year contract with Tottenham , the English Premier League club announced Thursday.
The 26-year-old left-back, who has signed a deal that is set to keep him at the north London club until 2021, moved to White Hart Lane from Leeds nine years ago and has since scored seven goals in 93 league appearances.
He follows in the footsteps of Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Eric Dier, Tom Carroll and Harry Winks, who have all extended their contracts in recent weeks.
Rose has not played for Spurs since August because of a hamstring injury but could return on Saturday when Tottenham are away to Middlesbrough.
