Report: Swansea meets with former U.S. coach Bob Bradley

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has spoken with former United States and Egypt coach Bob Bradley, according to BBC Sport, as current Swans boss Francesco Guidolin continues to fight for his job.

Guidolin's come under fire after a sluggish to start to the Premier League campaign, with Swansea picking up just four points out of a possible 18.

Despite his efforts in keeping the Welsh outfit clear of the relegation zone last season, the Italian manager is now facing a real threat to his job security.

Although he has denied any contact with Swansea, former Manchester United midfielder and assistant Ryan Giggs is also reportedly a candidate for the bench role.

But Bradley emerged as an option Tuesday following revelations that he met with Jenkins at Bristol Airport.

A decision has yet to be made over Guidolin's future, though the BBC understands Swansea's new U.S. ownership is "concerned" about the current run of form.

Bradley helped the U.S. men's national team to a Round of 16 appearance at the 2010 World Cup. He then moved on to Egypt the following year, and stuck with the country during a period of civil strife.

Bradley nearly secured a 2014 World Cup berth with Egypt, only losing out on a trip to Brazil in the final round of qualifying.

He's since enjoyed moderate spells at Norway's Stabaek and France's Le Havre, which narrowly missed out on promotion to Ligue 1 last season.
