Report: Hull dismisses West Ham's £3M bid for Snodgrass
West Ham is trying - and failing - to land a goal-scorer in the January transfer window.
The east London outfit saw a £3-million bid rejected for Hull City midfielder Robert Snodgrass, according to Sky Sports.
It's the second blow in a week for the Hammers, who also ended their pursuit of Sunderland poacher Jermain Defoe after a reported £6-million offer was turned away.
Snodgrass is just as important to Hull's cause as Defoe is to Sunderland's. The Scotland international leads the Tigers with seven goals this season - and they will need more of them if they hope to stave off relegation.
Both Sky Sports and BBC Radio Humberside indicate West Ham is one of "several" suitors for the 29-year-old, although it's uncertain whether any offer would tempt the club to part ways with one of its protagonists.
Snodgrass signed a one-year contract extension in December, extending the length of his deal until June 2018.
