Report: Hull accepts Burnley's £10M Snodgrass bid
Hull City's Robert Snodgrass may be moving across the Pennines this month after his club accepted a bid in the region of £10 million from Burnley for the instrumental winger, reports BBC Sport's Phil McNulty.
The 29-year-old had been subject to a series of steadily improved bids from West Ham United over the January transfer window - starting at a modest £3 million before the most recent offer of £7.5 million - but it appears Burnley is first to meet the Tigers' valuation for their top scorer.
It's now believed it's up to Snodgrass to decide whether he'll discuss terms and undergo a medical in Lancashire.
Middlesbrough, Crystal Palace, Watford, Swansea City, Sunderland, and Bournemouth have all registered an interest in recent weeks, according to the Guardian's Ed Aarons, indicating Burnley doesn't necessarily have a seamless route in securing his signature.
The former Livingston, Leeds United, and Norwich City man was notably absent from Sunday's 2-0 loss at Chelsea due to what Hull manager Marco Silva described as "a small injury in the knee."
Silva is apparently reluctant to let Snodgrass leave, especially after Jake Livermore was granted a £10-million switch to West Bromwich Albion, but the recent additions of loanees Omar Elabdellaoui and Lazar Markovic from Olympiacos and Liverpool, respectively, have given the Portuguese handler more options on the flanks.
An option to trigger a one-year extension to Snodgrass' Humberside stay was exercised by the Tigers in December, meaning he's currently tied to the club until 2018. That news came in the wake of reports that the Scot was seeking a transfer away from Hull.
