De Gea 'happy' at United amid renewed reports of Real Madrid move
Manchester United 'keeper David De Gea won't be drawn into another transfer saga linking him with a future move to Real Madrid.
Almost two years removed from a deadline-day fiasco where an administrative error prevented his transfer to Los Blancos, Real Madrid is reportedly lining up another bid to lure De Gea away from United in the summer.
The Spain international, however, insists he is happy at United and declined to comment on the latest speculation regarding his future.
"The future nobody knows," De Gea told Spanish outlet AS, as translated by Chris Reidy of Sky Sports. "The future is the future. I'm very happy here, it's a great club. In England, football is enjoyed a lot."
When asked specifically about a potential move to Real Madrid in the summer, De Gea responded, "I'm not going to talk about that. I will not talk about that subject any more. I just have to keep focused on my club."
A report earlier this week suggested Real has identified De Gea, along with Hugo Lloris of Tottenham and Thibaut Courtois of Chelsea, as potential targets.
After the failed transfer to Spain in 2015, De Gea - who went on to win United's Player of the Year award for the third straight year - signed a new four-year contract.
This season, De Gea has started all of United's Premier League matches (24) and is in a tie for second place with nine clean sheets behind Courtois' 13.
