Twitter never forgets. Even when you didn't mean it like that.
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was in attendance last week as Tom Brady powered the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history, leading the New England Patriots back from the dead against the Atlanta Falcons.
Courtois, clearly impressed by the celebrated quarterback's record-breaking feat, fired off the following tweet at the time:
Brady on fire 🔥#SuperBowl
— Thibaut Courtois (@thibautcourtois) February 6, 2017
Naturally, when the NFL superstar's namesake Robbie Brady - who coincidentally also wears No. 12 - curled a gorgeous free-kick beyond Courtois in Saturday's clash between Burnley and Chelsea, Twitter reminded the Belgian of his social media musing.
Brady on fire? He certainly was is, Thibaut.
