Kante on 'Kante Facts': 'I obviously do not cover 30 percent of the earth'
Seventy percent of Earth may be covered by water, but the other 30 percent is covered by Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante. His heat-map for the season has accelerated global warming by 10 years. Rumour even has it that when Kante lost his virginity, he won it back.
These are just some of the facts - entirely fictitious (perhaps) - that can be found on a popular social media account "@KanteFacts_" which pokes fun at the incredible French midfielder's work rate with Chuck Norris-styled jokes.
Such is its popularity that the former Leicester City man has even taken notice, and he's got a few thoughts on the matter.
"My teammates at Chelsea have told me about the 'Kante-facts'," Kante told reporters, as quoted by the Evening Standard. "It is just a bit of fun. I obviously do not cover 30 per cent of the surface of the earth.
"I am really happy with my performances this season," Kante added.
"It is true that I receive a lot of praise and that is flattering. But I try not to let it affect me. The important thing is to end the season well.
"I made the right choice to come to Chelsea. We are in a good position and we are playing some great football."
The @KanteFacts_ Twitter account, however, had other ideas:
