Tottenham's elimination from the FA Cup on Saturday against Chelsea was accompanied by an unsavoury record, as the north London side became the first to lose seven consecutive semi-final matches in the competition.
The first of seven semi-final disappointments came in 1993, when Spurs bowed out of the FA Cup after their north London rivals reached the final with a 1-0 victory.
Totteham's last triumph in the tournament was in 1991, when Terry Venables' men edged out Nottingham Forest 2-1 (a.e.t) thanks to Des Walker's own goal four minutes into extra time.
Conversely, Saturday's result saw Chelsea become the first team to reach seven FA Cup finals since 2000.
