By the numbers: Mourinho, United continue to rack up accolades
Manchester United and manager Jose Mourinho set several benchmarks with their 2-0 triumph in Wednesday's Europa League final against Ajax. Here, we run down the numbers behind the Premier League side's victory.
1 - Jose Mourinho is the first manager to win both the Champions League and UEFA Cup/Europa League twice.
Mourinho's Europa League gong gets added to a cabinet that includes a Champions League and UEFA Cup triumph with Porto, along with the Champions League title he won during Inter's historic 2009-10 season.
5 - Manchester United becomes the fifth club to complete its European trophy cabinet (Champions League/European Cup, UEFA Cup/Europa League, and Cup Winners' Cup).
The Red Devils join Juventus, Ajax, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea as the only other sides to accomplish the feat.

12 - Mourinho has now won 12 of the 14 major club finals he's managed.
The polarising Portuguese deals with a hefty amount of criticism - much of it of his own making - but it's impossible to deny how impressive his record is when it comes to getting the job done on the big stage.
