After being shipped out on disappointing loan terms in the last two seasons, Adnan Januzaj is apparently a man in demand.

The Belgian inherited the No. 11 shirt from Ryan Giggs at Manchester United in 2014, only for his form to plummet under the management of Louis van Gaal and his minutes to subsequently dwindle. Over the next two seasons he had mediocre temporary stints at Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland, but now, somewhat conversely, finds himself with a number of potential suitors.

La Liga outfit Real Sociedad has lodged a £9.7-million bid for the 22-year-old, according to Sky Sports News HQ, and United is understood to be sifting through plenty of other offers for the once-lauded winger.

Aware of how he thrived under David Moyes' tutelage in the 2013-14 campaign, ESPN FC's Rob Dawson believes United is trying to insert a buy-back clause into the deal in the event he fulfills his potential. It would be a similar agreement to the one struck when Memphis Depay left for Lyon in January for around €25 million.

Januzaj's contract, which was signed in the early months of his breakout season at United, expires next summer.
