Mendy jokingly mocks City fans in response to Mbappe, Sane picture

Benjamin Mendy isn't a stranger to the overreaction that a single social media post can create.

Before his transfer to Manchester City from AS Monaco earlier this summer, the French international triggered an uproar over a picture of himself on a plane. When he landed, Mendy uploaded a video in Paris noting how much Manchester has changed, and call for calm among his followers.

Mendy, however, couldn't resist the temptation of predicting how City fans might react to a picture of teammate Leroy Sane and AS Monaco star Kylian Mbappe, who has been the subject of seemingly endless speculation over his future this summer.

Unfortunately for City fans, Mbappe appears to have only been in Manchester on Saturday to attend a promotional event for Nike, according to Jack Bezants from the Daily Mail.
