Thierry Henry: Name the Premier League trophy after Sir Alex Ferguson
One of the greatest players in Premier League history has suggested that England's top flight trophy be named after the league's most successful manager, Sir Alex Ferguson.
Thierry Henry, who banged in a club-record 228 goals during his illustrious Arsenal career, could have easily nominated Arsene Wenger considering their storied time together in north London where they collected multiple league titles together.
But, instead, the former French international, during a Sky Sports special celebrating the Premier League's 25th anniversary, revealed he would name England's most coveted trophy after the revered Scottish manager, who collected 38 trophies (13 Premier League titles) during a career with Manchester United that spanned 26 years before his retirement in 2013.

"When I met him for the first time, I called him Mr. Premier League." Henry admitted, courtesy of The Telegraph's Callum Davis. "Thirteen. This is ridiculous. The trophy we see right there should have his name."
Henry, who is celebrating his 40th birthday Thursday, added: "His ability to change his staff, bring a new number two and a new voice helped.
"I think he knew what he wasn't good at and so he selected coaches to do the stuff he wasn't good at."
