Liverpool's Simon Mignolet: Concedes five in defeat
Mignolet made six saves and conceded five goals in Saturday's 5-0 defeat to Manchester City.
Analysis:
After being rested for the last match ahead of the international break, Mignolet was thrown back in against the Citizens at the Etihad and while few if any of the goals could be placed squarely on his shoulders, any time a keeper concedes five gives fans and managers cause for pause. He conceded one goal early when it was him and Sergio Aguero in a one-on-one and then four more after Sadio Mane was sent off. After a mid-week tie against Sevilla in the Champions League, they host Burnley in their next Premier League match, where it could be either Mignolet or Loris Karius starting.
