The second international break of the club season is one match away, and that could represent a convenient juncture to change a manager. Francesco Guidolin was given the boot from Swansea City just before October's World Cup qualifiers last season, while Dick Advocaat and Brendan Rodgers left roles at Sunderland and Liverpool respectively during the same gap of the 2015-16 term.
Now there appears to be a few bosses on the brink of being fired or resigning in the Premier League over the sixth weekend.
