Kane awarded 25th goal of season after successful appeal
Tottenham striker Harry Kane is now within four goals of tying Mohamed Salah in the Premier League scoring race after being awarded with the winner in last Saturday's 2-1 win over Stoke City.
Kane claimed that Christian Eriksen's free-kick in the 63rd minute at bet365 Stadium had grazed his shoulder on the way into the net, and after submitting an appeal with his team's support, a three-person Premier League panel decided to award him his 25th goal of the season.

"I swear on my daughter's life that I touched the ball, but there's nothing I can do," Kane said after the match. "If they turn it around, they turn it around. If they take my word, they take my word."
Eriksen added: "He celebrated like it was his goal so I will have to take his word for it."
Salah, whose 29 goals have fired Liverpool to third in the Premier League standings, wasn't too pleased with the news:
Wooooooow really ?

Salah has five more games remaining in the schedule to break Alan Shearer's 31-goal record in a 38-game season.
