Ronaldo 1st to hit 400 goals in Europe's top 5 leagues

Cristiano Ronaldo stretched his lead atop the all-time scoring charts in Europe's top five leagues on Saturday with his 400th goal.

His tallies have been compiled over stints with Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus. He netted 84 times in the Premier League, 311 times in La Liga, and pocketed his fifth Serie A goal against Genoa in Turin.

Ronaldo can add further domestic league goals to his collection with the three he bagged as a teenager with Sporting CP in his native Portugal. He is also the leading scorer in Champions League history with 120, 17 more goals than second-placed Messi.

The 33-year-old got off the mark with Juventus in his fourth match when he scored twice against Sassuolo. The Bianconeri parted with €100 million to sign him from Real Madrid in the summer.
